In Memoriam

This Unit honors the memory of Donald DiFranco, who faithfully performed his duties at the WABC-TV transmitter site, and lost his life when terrorists struck the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001. Rest in peace, brother.

Subject: Remembering Don

I just spoke to Don DiFranco’s mom and sister, Angie and Lisa. As you know, Don was our engineer at our transmitter site on top of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. He was the only employee of the entire Walt Disney Company who was killed that day. Angie and Lisa have chosen not to speak publicly today, but they have asked that we place a fresh flower on Don’s picture in our lobby, and remember him. We will do that at 3:30 this afternoon, in our lobby. I hope as many of you as possible can come for a brief time.
